Marina's Ocean is a movie about inclusion. 

Marina is a 15 years old girl who wants to see the ocean. 


Synopsis : 

A group of countryside students are preparing a special trip to the beach. Marina, a 15-year-old girl with Down Syndrome has a strong wish to visit the sea for the first time. Forbidden to travel with the other kids, Marina starts her own journey towards the Atlantic Ocean.

Compendium of good practice: supported employment for people with disabilities in the EU and EFTA-EEA


The good practice examples introduced in this report is a part of a general study of Supported Employment for people with disabilities in the EU and EFTAEEA.
The general study consists of a mapping of Supported Employment in 30 countries and an in-depth study in six selected countries. The search for good practice examples of Supported Employment took place within the same selected countries as the ones selected for in-depth studies: Austria, Czech Republic, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the UK.

Autism-Europe’s international congresses are dedicated to sharing advances in practical and scientific knowledge about autism to as wide an audience as possible, including researchers, professionals, parents and self-advocates.

The theme of the 2016 Congress is Happy, healthy and empowered. The Congress will focus on the most recent developments across the field of autism, including causes, genetics, diagnosis, early intervention, treatments, education, support, employment, rights and policies, and many more. It will also cover the evolution of knowledge, rights and services for autistic people, as well as providing insight into future developments in knowledge and technologies for autistic people that may soon become a part of everyday life.
